My mission is to champion inclusion and ensure that every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to live their best life. I am deeply committed to creating environments where diversity is celebrated, and no person is left feeling unworthy of opportunity or belonging.
I am inspired and driven to advocate for those whose voices are often unheard, working to break down barriers and promote equity across all aspects of life. Through compassion, professionalism, and integrity, I strive to support individuals in achieving their goals, fostering independence, and enhancing their quality of life.
At the heart of my work is a belief that everyone deserves dignity, respect, and the chance to thrive. I dedicate myself to building strong, supportive relationships and to advancing practices that uphold fairness, inclusion, and empowerment for all.
ABEL Support Staff stands as a testament to my mission. Over the past four years, I have dedicated myself to growing and providing a company built on the foundation of inclusion. No matter how someone engages with our organisation, they will feel welcomed as part of the ABEL Family. By fostering this culture of belonging, I can ensure that our mission remains alive and strong, no matter how much we expand
Drawing on my professional achievements, I have gained the knowledge and experience necessary to lead this company with confidence and vision.
In my teenage years, I completed a Certificate III in Tourism and played a key role in opening Flight Centre stores in Mackay and the Whitsundays. I was also involved in multiple Global Awards ceremonies, which provided me with the opportunity to travel internationally and broaden my perspective.
In my twenties, I completed a Bachelor of Learning Management and spent nine years teaching in a local primary school, where I developed strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
In my thirties, I took over the management of our family business, ABEL Support Staff, and I am currently completing my Master of Social Work to further strengthen my expertise in supporting individuals and communities.
As I approach my forties, stay tuned—the sky is the limit, and I am excited to see how far ABEL Support Staff will grow

I stepped into the Administration Management role when the rapid growth of ABEL Support Staff created an opportunity, and Symone required additional support to ensure administrative tasks were completed effectively. I have always had a passion for mathematics and problem-solving, which has guided my work in this area.

For over two years, I have worked closely alongside Symone—supporting clients directly, managing rosters, handling payroll tasks, and ensuring that her mission statement is upheld through consistent and reliable administration.
Prior to joining ABEL Support Staff, I worked in the mining industry as a machinery operator, where I took on leadership responsibilities to ensure jobs were completed efficiently while also supporting team morale.
I am dedicated to completing every task to the highest standard and am committed to studying and learning to fill any gaps in knowledge.
In my twenties, I completed a carpentry apprenticeship and am now working toward obtaining my builder’s licence.
As a lifelong learner, I strive to continually expand my knowledge across multiple fields. I am a natural leader who enjoys inspiring others to take bold steps into new industries, and I firmly believe that it is never too late to learn a new skill.

I have over two decades of experience in the disability and mental health sector, specializing in providing high-level support and fostering community inclusion.
My career began as a support worker, completing both of my certificates 3 and 4 in disability and individual/community supports, where I worked hands-on with individuals requiring complex care, helping them access services, build independence, and achieve personal goals.
For the past couple of years I held a role as a senior support worker, which involved engaging with my teams, overseeing intakes, attending stakeholders and ensuring staffs needs are met to provide the best services for clients.
In my current role, I combine frontline experience with leadership responsibilities—supporting staff, mentoring teams, and ensuring quality care delivery. I am passionate about creating positive environments where both clients and employees feel valued, respected, and empowered.
